Rewind is a members' dating and social app. This policy explains what we collect, why, and the choices you have. We designed Rewind to share as little as possible: no phone numbers, no social handles, and location only when you turn it on.

By default, messages and shared media disappear after 24 hours. If you turn on the option to keep a conversation, those messages are kept on your device. We do not use your private messages for advertising.
We do not sell your personal information.
You can delete your account at any time from Account → Delete account in the app. This permanently removes your profile, messages, Rewinds, references, and related data. Some limited records may be retained where we are legally required to keep them.
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, export, or delete your personal data, and to object to certain processing. You can exercise most of these directly in the app, or by emailing privacy@rewinddating.com.
We use industry-standard measures to protect your data, including password hashing and encrypted connections. No system is perfectly secure, but we work hard to protect your information.
Rewind is strictly for adults. You must be 18 or older to create an account or use the service. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 18, and we will delete such accounts if discovered.
Your information may be processed in countries other than your own. Where it is, we take steps to ensure it remains protected under this policy.
We may update this policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will update the date above and, where appropriate, notify you in the app.
